Teen Support

Destiny House is passionate about supporting at-risk teens. While many are misunderstood because of the We have made it our life time commitment to bridge the gap between amazing teenagers who are in need of a loving home and nurturing foster and adoptive families.

 

Our goal is to educate the community on the benefits of caring for a teen and dispel many of the fears and negative stereotypes that are attached to teen placement.

 

All of Destiny House staff have been trained in providing specialized support to teen placements and focus on assuring each family is provided with the tools and individualized care needed to support teen placements.

 

Our families will have access to introductory psycho-social education classes to assist them in strengthening their communication skills and parenting skills for teens.
