Every Donation Counts!
Every $25 donation will help us provide a care package to a young person who has transitionally aged out of the system.
Every $50 donation will provide groceries to a homeless youth that has transitioned due to aging out of the system.
$100 or more will provide emergency shelter for homeless transitional-aged youth.
Destiny House Foundation is committed to investing in the future one child at a time. Your tax deductible donation will be used to provide a variety of support for at risk teens and the families that care for them.
An acknowledgement of your generous contribution will be provided to you from the agency. Please save your letter for tax purposes.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
DOES THIS TAX CREDIT ALSO APPLY TO FEDERAL TAX RETURNS?
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction only on your state taxes. You may also be able to claim a federal tax deduction for the amount donated. Check with your tax professional.
IS A TAX CREDIT DIFFERENT FROM A TAX DEDUCTION?
Yes. Tax deductions are expenses, including charitable donations, that reduce your total taxable income and therefore the amount of tax you pay. A tax credit is different: A tax credit allows you to redirect 100 percent of the amount designated (up to $1000 for taxpayers filing jointly and $500 for individual taxpayers), dollar-for-dollar, to the areas you choose.
Additionally, if you itemize your taxes on your U.S. federal tax return, you may be able to claim your donation as a federal tax deduction, thus lowering the amount of federal tax you’ll pay to the IRS.
CAN I ALSO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OTHER STATE TAX CREDITS?
Yes! Donating to Destiny House Foundation is a 501c3, does not limit your ability to give under other Arizona Tax Credits, such as private and public school tax credits. You can give and benefit under all three tax credits! For additional information, check with your tax professional.
